Opinion-Central Consumer Panel membership is by invitation only. Membership is completely voluntary and free of charge.
Do I need special hardware or software?
No. Almost any computer with Internet access is sufficient to complete our surveys.
Are there any fees or costs?
No. Membership is absolutely free. In fact, we’re sure that you will find taking our surveys an enjoyable and rewarding experience. We promise to never try to sell you anything! The only thing we ask for is your honest feedback, opinions, and participation in our surveys.
How frequently will I be invited to share my opinion?
Once you have completed our registration survey, we will invite you to participate in surveys at least once a month. We know your time is valuable, so we will try to keep the surveys short (usually no more than 15 minutes).
Look for invitation e-mails from Chris Arnold (email@example.com). To participate, click on the link provided in the e-mail and follow the instructions.
You may also log in to the Opinion-Central website and click on the Take a Survey! link to be sent to a live survey.
How will I know if there is a survey for me to complete?
We will send you an e-mail invitation with a link to a survey that best matches your profile information. We will usually not contact you more than two or three times per month.
You are under no obligation to participate in any survey, however, if after several attempts you do not participate in any surveys, we may consider you to be inactive on the panel and suspend your membership.
How much time does it take to complete a survey?
We know that your time is valuable, so we try to insure our surveys are as short as possible. They usually take no more than 15 minutes to complete.
What happens to the responses I give when answering surveys?
When you complete a survey your information, as well as the information of other survey respondents, is collected, tabulated and reported back to our clients in aggregated form. Your e-mail address, name, and any other personally identifiable information will never be provided to others without your prior consent
. We promise to keep all information provided by our panel members completely confidential.
We are members of CASRO (Council of American Survey Research Organizations), BBBOnline, and are TrustE certified and follow all the rules and procedures they’ve put in place to ensure that our panel members have a great experience when working with us and your privacy is protected.
How do I know you actually received my questionnaire answers?
At the end of each survey you will find a "Finish" or "Submit" button. Once you have clicked that button, your data is stored on our secure server. You will then see a "Thank You" page. This indicates that we have received your input.
What happens to my personal information?
As a leading research company we must maintain our reputation for respondent confidentiality. We rely on your trust in us, and we can assure you that all personal information you give us will be kept strictly confidential

Do I get compensated for taking surveys?
We currently do not offer incentives on every survey. Occasionally, an opportunity will arise where compensation for survey completion is offered. Email invitations will note if compensation if offered for a specific survey.
Are surveys available for members who live outside the U.S.?
Currently the InsightExpress Consumer Panel is for citizens of the United States only, aged 18 years and older only.
